Abstract

1329720 Laminates OMNICO SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL Inc 3 Nov 1970 [6 Nov 1969] 52103/70 Heading B5N [Also in Division E1] Prefabricated building panels have edge grooves 22 whereby they are interconnected by elongate studs (25), Fig. 4 (not shown), the grooves and studs having interengaging projections and recesses. The panels may have sheet metal outer skins 16, 17 (Fig. 5), e.g. of steel, and a foamed polyurethane core 18. Alternatively, Fig. 8 (not shown), illustrates a panel with a sheet metal outer skin (58) and a gypsum board inner skin (59), separated by a polyurethane foam core (61). Panel 63 of Fig. 9 has an outer plywood skin 64 and an inner gypsum board skin 65 with a polyurethane foam layer 66 therebetween. A channel 67 of sheet metal forming the edge groove is held in position either by the foam or it may be connected to the facing sheets. In Fig. 10, gypsum boards form the facing sheets, the construction being otherwise as in Fig. 9.
