Abstract

1,189,992. Building units. VULCAN PLASTICS Ltd. 20 June, 1967 [20 Jun, 1966], No. 27521/66. Heading E1B. A facing unit for attachment to concrete, plaster, cement or foam plastics comprises a polyester resin sheet 17, an aluminium, wood or plastics peripheral framework 20 secured to the sheet during hardening, and corrugated wire netting bonded thereto by an adhesive layer 19, the wire netting and recesses 21 in the frame providing keying recesses for concrete 22 cast onto the unit. The frame has grooves 24 for mounting on a framework or interlocking with adjacent panels.
