1325405 Forms of wood FU SHING MFG & LUMBER CO Ltd 21 Oct 1971 49025/71 Heading B5L [Also in Division E1] A wooden door, window or wall panel is produced by adhering wooden mouldings 3 to a wooden panel core 2, adhering a peripheral wooden frame 1a, 1b to the core and adhering a wooden skin, e.g. of plywood, 4a-4j, to each face of the panel to cover the core and frame but leave the mouldings 3 exposed. The core 2 may be formed either from strips of low grade lumber either contacting or spaced from each other or from chip-board with tubular bores therein parallel to the skin 4. The mouldings may be formed on only one or on both faces of the panel, may have ledges for receiving the skin's 4 edges, and may act as securement devices for carved wooden panels, Fig. 5, or window panes. Wall panels may be secured to spacer blocks with skin members covering the gap between adjacent panels, Fig. 15 (not shown). A wooden reinforcement member 5 may be included in the core.
