[Also in Division E1] A door panel comprises spaced framing members, e.g. 22 and 30, along each edge, a central panel 47 or slats 36, and plywood facing sheets 40 and 42 glued to the framing members to cover both faces of the panel completely, and then cut away over the central portion or portions of one or both faces by means of a routing cutter comprising a shaped head on a drive-shaft 46, and a roller 48 to guide the cutter along the appropriate framing member.
