Abstract

1,262,407. Double glazing. H. J. WARREN. 11 Jan., 1971 [14 Aug., 1970], No. 39164/70. Heading E1R. An additional glazed window frame for converting an existing single glazed frame into a double glazed window frame comprises a first closed frame 2 having on one major face thereof a coating of an adhesive material whereby the frame may be secured to the existing frame (not shown) and on the other major face at least one continuous rib or groove 2B and a second closed frame 1 of resilient plastics material having secured to one major face by adhesive, e.g. a sheet of transparent polythene and having on the other major face at least one continuous groove or rib 2a to engage said rib or groove 2B on the first closed frame to hold the first and second closed frames together.
