1424721 Ventilating animal houses EUROPEAN PROFILES Ltd 6 May 1974 [4 May 1973] 21346/73 Heading F4V [Also in Divisions E1-E2] A roof structure comprises roofing sheets forming a pitched roof with spaced apertures 8 therein and elongate members 4 extending along the roof supporting cover sheets 6 of larger dimensions than the apertures 8 so as to provide openings through the apertures 8 to the external atmosphere. The apertures 8 extend along the ridge of a pitched roof structure and openings or gaps are provided between the cover sheets 6 extending transversely across the ridge. Some or all of the cover sheets may be of translucent glass fibre-reinforced plastics and the roofing sheets may be of galvanized steel or asbestos cement. The roof structure may form the cover for cow sheds.
