A glazing bar 15, Fig. 2, or 26, Fig. 3, for use in a greenhouse or like structure has two oppositely facing channelled members 21, 24 or 35, 36 adapted to receive the horizontal edges of adjacent sheets of glass, the channels being interconnected by webs 20 or 30 perforated at spaced intervals at 25 or 25a so that condensate forming on the inner surfaces of the sheets within the structure is transferred to the outer surface of an adjacent lower sheet, the-upper of two adjacent sheets overlapping the lower sheet. The upper side walls and roof of a greenhouse, Fig. 1, having lower walls of brickwork, not shown, are built up from a number of rows of glass panes 10, 11, 12, which are mounted in a series of frames formed by connecting the glazing bars 15 or 26 with equidistantly -spaced upwardly directed T-section bars 13, 14 shaped to receive the edges of the panes, the latter being retained against the T-section bars by elements 16. The downwardly directed channel 21 or 35 in each bar 15 or 26 is of sufficient depth to receive the upper edge of a pane so that its lower edge can be brought into register with the corresponding channel 24, or 30 in the bar 15 or 26 directly beneath it, or in the case of the lowermost pane, register with. a channel 39 in a gutter 38 surmounting the brick wall. A T glazing bar 37 completes the structure at the ridge.
