615,454. Frameworks for building structures, e.g. greenhouses, barns. HARROP, R, WRIGHT, H. B., EVERINGTON, H., and GILLAM, G. M. A. Feb. 21, 1946, No. 5432. [Classes 20(i) and 20(iv)] A framework for a building structure such as a greenhouse, barn or the like comprises stanchions 1 having U-shaped elements 3 at their upper ends, which elements have U-shaped pockets 4 to receive the ends 5 of the roof trusses 6 and additionally form a support for guttering 7. The roof trusses 6 consist of braces 10 and a top chord 11 formed by bending a single bar, and a lower chord 12, the top chord 11 supporting a ridge member 13. After assembling the framework, glazed frameworks or glazing bars or roofing material may be applied to the roof trusses to form a glazed or covered roof structure as desired.
