429,163. Greenhouses &c. WALFORD, R. S., Mitre Works, Battle, Sussex. Dec. 23, 1933. No. 36620/34. Divided out of 429,118. [Class 20 (i)] A greenhouse, garage, or like structure comprises a number of groups 1, 2 of transverse frames arranged side by side, adjacent sides of the frames being shortened and supported on pillars 10 placed at intervals along the length of the building. Gutters 17 are connected to each pair of adjacent frames, above the supporting pillars. As applied to structures framed as described in Specification 429,118, the T-section frame bars are shortened and have part of the web 4 removed to allow the flange extension 5 to be turned over. Longitudinal channel bars 6 have one flange 8 bolted to flanges on the pillars 10, the flanges of the channel bars being slotted to receive the webs 4 of the transverse frames 1. A gutter 17 has its sides secured to the longitudinal channel bars by bolts 18 which hook into the webs of the frames 1, these bolts also securing the channel bars to the frames. Straps 20 of metal are bent round the projecting roofing panels 14 and extend to the outer edges of the gutter sides 16.
