Abstract

The roof support struture, esp. suitable for roofing over wide-span hangar-type structures, is made up from profiled sheet metal plates, pref. trapezoid plates. Use is made of flat profiled steel sheet plates (1), elastically arched, connected with tie rods (2) and lattice work (3). On their bearing sides they are fitted with edge girders, with edge profiles coupled in their extension. Panel-shaped insulating elements (6) may be horizontally attached on the tops or undersides of the tie rods. Material and labour are saved in manufacture, and transport onto site is simplified.
