Abstract

The panel has a rigid rectangular frame which is formed by two side members and two or more crosspieces, preferably in wood, but metal can be used. On the upper part of the frame is fixed, at the factory, either covering panels of laminated glass, metal, etc., or supports for tiles which are put on after erection. Inside the frame is placed insulating material. On the lower face of the frame can be placed a covering sheet for protection against wind and snow or to constitute a ceiling. To form the roof, panels are placed on the roof purlins and attached by cleats fastened to the purlins. Assembly and fixing is easy and can be done by unskilled labour.
