Abstract

317,806. Farnell, S. April 23, 1928. Glasshouses of the type provided with a number of permanent or detachable wall sections and one or more movable roof sections, have rails 3 and 7 on the wall and roof sections, respectively, which abut and are fastened together by bolts 11 after the roof section has been moved in to position on rollers 13, which are detachable from the brackets 14 on the roof sections. The roof section may be raised while the rollers are positioned by rotation of a lever having two rollers spaced apart. The rails may be mounted on T-section uprights, the tops of which lie between the movable roof sections and form gutters.
