Abstract
247,733. Williams, W. Feb. 5, 1925. Glasshouses.-Glasshouses are formed - with movable roofs on rails secured to the tops of a fixed framework and removable side and end sashes are secured to the roofs so as to move with them. The framework is formed of wooden uprights joined at the tops by horizontal rods B to which the rails 'N are secured, the longitudinal lines of framework being secured together by transverse bars C which may support transverse partitions to determine the size of the house. The roof may be of one or more spans and pro. vided with gutter boards G on the under surfaces of which are secured the wheels K on which the roof moves. The side sashes 0 are hinged or otherwise removably secured to the under side of the gutter boards so that they are removed or elevated before moving the roof. The end sashes P are hung on rails secured to the roof.
