785,854. Roofs and rooflights. SILBERKUHL, W. J. Dec. 23, 1955 [Dec. 29, 1954], No. 36876/55. Classes 20(3) and 20(4) A roof for wide-span buildings, comprises arched roof trusses 4 surmounted by windows, and roofing elements 7 extending from the top of the window frames on one truss to the next adjacent truss itself, the elements 7 being shaped to conform to the arched form of the trusses 4. As shown the trusses 4 are of rolled H-section and the ends of each truss are connected by a tie 9. Glazing bars 5 extend radially outwards from each truss 4 and support curved upper window frames 6. The roofing elements 7 are cylindrical or spherical in shape and may be of pre-fabricated reinforced concrete or of concrete laid in-situ.
