Abstract

741,018. Shelters. GREAVES, H. F. Oct. 26, 1954 [Aug. 4, 1953], No. 21503/53. Class 20(1). A roofed shelter for bus passengers, farm animals or golfers comprises a number of wall panels on posts 11, 12 concreted into the ground, the panels 21 being angularly disposed in Z, N, W or S formation to provide shelter from wind direction. The panels may be of glass &c. sheet material. The posts may have grooves 18 to receive an adjacent panel. The roof may be delivered in e.g. 3 sections provided with edge capping 32, battens 34 and covered with roofing felt over purlins 35 and provided with drain holes. The panels may be curved.
