Abstract

786,182. Shelter roofs. LUBBERS, W. P. Dec. 5, 1955, No. 34740/55. Class 20(4) A shelter roof substantially semi-parabolic in cross-section and comprising rafters 1 secured at one end to the ground or a foundation 2 to which. a roof 3 is fixed to terminate at the rear 5 somewhat above the foundation 2, has a rounded off edge 7 at its freely projecting front. As shown, sheets 3 are secured to beams of the rafters and are reinforced by purlins 4. The front portion 6 of the roof may be given a downwardly curved shape, deviating from the parabolic form, as indicated in Fig. 1. The rounded edge may be circular as shown in Fig. 2.
