[Classes 20 (iii) and 20 (iv).] For roof construction, the roofing material is suspended below the roof principals and is spaced therefrom. Spaced astragals 2 are suspended by hooks 4 fixed to concrete purlins 3 supported between the main roof frames 5, and the roofing material 1 is clipped to the astragals..The overlapping edges of the roofing material may be tapered and absorbent packing material interposed to absorb the water of condensation. The astragals may be of timber, reinforced concrete, or lead-covered iron bars and the sheeting may be of glass or asbestoscement.
