434,730. Combined facias and gutters for roofs. ROBERTSON, A. M., 97, South Street, Greenock, Renfrewshire. March 8, 1934, No. 7362. [Class 20 (iv)] A combined facia and gutter for gabled roofs is made of lengths of section-bar laid end to end and lap-jointed, the section of each bar consisting of a web 1 and flanges 2, 3 defining a gutter 4, the flange 2 having a sloping top face 2<a> to support tilted slates 7 and the flange 3 being extended downwardly at 3<a> to constitute a facia. The facia has a decorative bead 3b. The bars are secured to the roofing boards 5 by screws 6 passing through countersunk holes in the flange 2.
