Abstract

141,456. Ward, J. F. Feb. 13, 1919. Cupboard - turns. - A fastener for doors, lids, &c. of furniture comprises a handle h with squared stem a freely mounted in an attachment plate b fixed to one side of the article, and an arm d mounted on the stem at the other side and retained in position by an attachment plate e'. The plate e' is preferably triangular, the right-angled sides forming stops for the lever d, and the central part being raised to provide space for the lever. The stem may extend through the plate e<1>, or stop short thereof, and be formed with a boss projecting into the article to which the fastening is applied.
