Abstract

500,525. Attaching buckles to gasmasks. UNITED-CARR FASTENER CORPORATION. July 13, 1938, No. 20782. Convention date, Aug. 6, 1937. [Class 43] A plate 6 to which a buckle 8 is secured is attached to a gasmask by means of a a bridge-piece 3 integral with the rubber body portion 1, and a metal clamping member 5 upon which the plate is pivotally mounted. The lower wall 11 of the member 5 is slidden under the bridge-piece 3 and the member is closed by squeezing. The pivotal movement of the plate 6 is limited by the engagement of its edges 16 with a stop 14 on the member 5.
