Abstract

572,154. Fasteners. UNITED-CARR FASTENER CORPORATION. Oct. 12, 1943, No. 16696. Convention date, Oct. 1, 1942. [Class 44] In a press-button fastener, the stud 17 is guided in a channel 13 that has a cam 15 formed on its upper surface; a projection 20 prevents the stud leaving the channel. When in the position A, the socket 18 can be applied to the stud and when the fastener is moved towards the position B, the cam 15 raises the socket 18 to release the fastening. A spring may be included to press the stud towards position A. Specification 544,966 is referred to.
