541,524. Stud fastenings. BOENECKE, A., DAVID, G. C., ZEDDIES, H. March 26, 1940, No. 5446. Convention date, March 28, 1939. [Class 44] In a stud and socket fastening of non-metallic material, that can be sprayed, die-cast or pressed, the stud or Socket and their respective slotted bases 1 are integral, and the stud or socket is formed of projections 3 or 9 arranged in a circle and individually disposed on the base 1 to act as levers fixed at one end. At the points where the projections merge into the base, circumferential slots, such as 5, are formed to weaken the connection between the projections and the base. The stud may be formed by two die members 7, 8, moved together to form cores.
