625,513. Fastenings. ISAKSSON, G. A. E. Aug. 5, 1947, No. 21219. Convention date, Oct. 11, 1945. [Class 44] [Also in Group XIV] For securing a table top to its legs a disc 1 having a marginal flange is secured in spaced relation to the undersurface of the table top. A headed stud 9 secured firmly to the leg 8 passes through a central aperture of the disc, the head 10 of the stud projecting into a recess 3a in the table top and a wedge 7 is driven through a gap or recess 4 in the disc's marginal flange to engage with pressure the disc and the stud head, thereby firmly securing the table top to the leg. The wedge 7 is provided with a forked end or slot 6 to bye-pass the shank of the stud.
