514,227. Fastenings SOC. D'ETUDES SIMMONDS. Jan. 25, 1939, No. 2603. Convention date, Feb. 19, 1938. [Class 44] In a fastening of the type in which a stud 9 has grooves 10 across its shank to engage with a spring catch 4 when pushed into a casing 2, release being effected by rotating the shank so that the spring catch 4 is forced out of the grooves 10, the casing is attached, for instance, by rivets through holes 11, on the remoter side of one of the two pieces to be fastened and the head 8 of the stud is so spaced that the two pieces to be fastened held between the head of the stud and the nearer face 1 of the casing, the inner side of the stud head being square to the shank.
