Press - button fasteners.-The stud of a strap-fastener &c. is secured to the fabric of an article by a base member with a central flanged opening to receive the grooved end of the stud. When the stud 1 is engaged with the base member 3 and the parts pressed together, the central flange 9 is bent to enter the groove 6 in the stud and to grip the fabric 4 or a second base member 2 which may be shaped and arranged as shown.
