Press-button fasteners.-The stud c of a pressbutton fastener passes through the material, and is attached by sewing or by means of two or more claws d, which pass through the material and are turned over by scissors, pliers, &c. The claws may be turned over from the centre to the circumference or inversely, Figs. 8 and 9. The studs may also be attached to a ribbon f, Fig. 10, which is then sewn to the inside of the garment so as not to be seen.
