Press-button fasteners. -A hollow rivet b for attaching the female part of a press-button fastener to a fabric band is formed by pressing out the metal of the base a of the fastener itself, the fastener being secured in position between the two layers d, h of the fabric by turning over the edge c of the hollow rivet. The free ends of the spring e are retained in position by T-shaped tongues f pressed out from, and bent back over, the base a, the outer part of the spring being held by turnedover parts g at the edge of the base.
