Abstract

214,923. Tomlyn, A. Nov. 20, 1933. Press-button fasteners.- In press-button fasteners the stud portion, Figs. 2 and 4, comprises a hollow stud f screw-threaded internally at j and projecting from a disc e which is secured to a garment by a threaded post o on a disc m screwed into the hollow stud f. The socket, Figs. 1 and 3, comprises a flanged body a having the usual locking spring d and a central pressed-down portion b forming a recess to receive the stud f. The portion b is threaded externally and is passed through the material of the garment from the inside. It is secured by a disc k having a boss p provided with an internally threaded aperture to engage the portion b. Specification 6688/89 is referred to.
