Abstract

[Class 44] In a fastening of the kind in which a plate member 1 has a spring tongue 11 the free end of which engages a stud 5, the tongue is wider at its free end than at its fixed end, whilst the edge 15 of the free end is convex and has a semi-circular recess engaging the stem 6 of the stud. The fastening is described as applied to the strap 2. of a bathing cap 4, the plate 1 having slots 8, 9 through which the strap is adjustably threaded, A modification has the free end of tongue 11 directed towards slot 8.
