646,246. Nails. FARISH, T. G. June 30, 1948, No. 17641. [Class 89(ii)] [Also in Group XVIII] Nails for fixing letters &c. to surfaces are formed so as to be attached to the rear of the letter and with surfaces extending at right angles to and around the axis to prevent withdrawal. The nail may be attached by screwing at a, Fig. 2, or by blind riveting, or it may be cast on or moulded in the letter &c. It is formed with one or more conical parts d, d<1> presenting shoulders e, e<1> to resist withdrawal. The shoulder e may be on a helical formation.
