Abstract
855,640. Anchor bolts; nails; hooks-and-eyes. PITET, G. April 20, 1959 [April 22, 1958], No. 13314/59. Classes 89(1) and 89(2). A nail comprises a cylindrical-shank 1, Fig. 2, slit to form two or four limbs 3 which are bowed outwardly and meet at the end 4 remote from the head 2 to form a point. In a modification, the nail may be made from wire-pieces soldered together. In another arrangement, the shank 1, Fig. 7, is cut-away to provide shoulders 7, against which spring-members 8 abut. Members 8 may be magnetized to hold them to the shank, or a staple-like-part may straddle the shank and members. The head 2 may be screwed to receive a nut, or be formed as a hook or eye.
