Abstract

603,525. Strap fastenings. HEIMANN, S. Oct. 23, 1945, No. 27896. [Class 44] [Also in Group VII] A strap 1, 2 for a wrist watch or the like is made of a synthetic plastic, somewhat resilient sheet material, and has near at least one end one or more studs 4 the heads 5 of which, after the end of the strap has been passed through an attachment slot on the watch or the like, are snapped through corresponding holes 6 in the strap, the holes having diameters equal to those of the stud shanks 8. The studs 4, which may be of metal, or of non- metallic material such as ceramic, plastic or glass, are retained on the folded-back part of the strap by their bases 7, having been snapped through holes therein in the same way as before. The end of the strap 1 is passed round a bar of the buckle 9 and is similarly secured by studs 4.
