Class 44 A clasp for a bracelet or the like comprises two clasp members 11, 12 and two clips 15, 16 pivotally mounted on one of the clasp members about separate axes spaced from one another longitudinally of that clasp member, the clips being of different lengths and having hook-shaped end portions facing one another so that the hook-shaped end of one of the clips, which is pivotally mounted nearer the outer end of the one clasp member 11 than the other clip 16, can be engaged with the other of the clasp members, and can, by pivotal movement of the clips relative to one another and to the one clasp member 11, be received within and engaged by the hook-shaped end of the other of the clips.
