797,053. Bracelets. WEIGHTMAN & CO., Ltd., L. A. Sept. 21, 1956 [Sept. 28, 1955], No. 27589/55. Class 43 Connecting means for a watch comprises a bendable clip 1 of which a tongue 2 at one end is passed after the clip has been bent round and side bar 12 connected to the watch case, through a slit in the inner ply 6 of two plies 6, 7 of a watch strap and through an opening 3 in the other end of the clip; the end of the strap 10 which is coated with adhesive is then stuck over the clip after passing round the bar 12 and after bending over the tongue 2 to secure the two ends of the clip together. For use with wide straps, two clips may be used or a wider clip may have several tongues and openings.
