570,492. End fastenings for straps ; band clips. UNIQLIP, Ltd., and HARLEY, F. B. July 9, 1943, No. 11185. [Classes 44 and 109] The ends of a ductile metal strap s are secured by passing them through a slot or slots 1, 2 in a metal link and doubling them back upon themselves. Ears 5 are provided on the link so as to be bent over the doubled-over strap ends. In one form of link the material pressed outwardly to form one of the slots is made into bridge form, and the end of the strap passed through the other slot is passed under the bridge.
