Abstract

561,981. Suspender grips. FARR, L. W. Dec. 8, 1942, No. 17463. [Class 44] A hose and like suspender grip comprises a plate member a, shown as substantially rectangular, with an inverted T shaped aperture c co-operating with a plate-like member b of T form and preferably bent at g<1> so. that the parts a, b lie close together, Fig. 2. Members a, b are slotted at e, h respectively to receive a connecting, tape f by which they are secured to the elastic suspender strap j. In an alternative arrangement members a, b are threaded on to an extension of strap j. In use the fabric to be gripped (not shown) is laid over member a a and the head g of member b is passed substantially edgewise through the,aperture in member a, taking part of the fabric with it. Member b is then moved to the final gripping position shown in Fig. 2.
