Abstract

857,447. Strap fastenings. MAJEWICZ, H. A. April 8, 1959 [April 10, 1958], No. 11374/58. Class 44. A clasp for a strap, bracelet or the like comprises two lugs 10, 11 and an articulated bridge piece 12 said bridge piece being pivotally carried by one of said lugs 11 and being adapted for insertion through a space in the other of said lugs 10 and thereafter for connection to the lug 11 whereby said bridge piece acts as a clasp fastening joining said two lugs together. As shown each lug has two spaced transverse bars 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b and the bridge piece is pivotally connected to the lug 11a and has two arms 13, 14 the arm 14 being longer than the arm 13 and ending in a hook 17. In use the bridge piece is passed around either the lug 10b or the lug 10a and its hook 17 engages the lug 11b.
