Abstract

865,498. Attaching articles to the wrist. BOUCHERON S. A. Oct. 24, 1958 [Sept. 10, 1958], No. 34118/58. Class 43 [Also in Group XXV]. In a means for fastening a strap or bracelet 2 to a watch, &c., the strap has at one end, or at both ends if interchangeable, a slider 4 which is adapted to engage a channel 3 in the watch-case and is locked therein by a spring-urged-pin or ball 8 held in a recess 1<SP>1</SP> of the case 1 and entering a notch 10 in the slider. The slider 4, rounded at 11 to facilitate entry into the channel 3 and to depress the pin 8, has guiding-channels 6<SP>1</SP>, 7<SP>1</SP> engageable by projections 6, 7, respectively of the channel 3. Release is effected by applying force to the slider so that the pin 8 disengages the notch 10.
