Abstract

1,030,764. Watches. ATLANTIC FABRIQUE D'HORLOGERIE S.A. Dec 8, 1964 [Dec 20, 1963], No. 49846/64. Heading G3T. [Also in Divisions A3 and E2] A watch bracelet 1, Figs 1 to 5 (not shown) can be worn with either side toward the wrist. The bracelet carries two watches 2, 3 with their faces directed to opposite sides of the bracelet so that only one shows. The fastener, Fig 3, comprises a buckle 5 engageable over one or the other of two projections 6a, 6b on opposite sides of a fastening plate 6. Two hinged cover plates 7, 8 provide catches of which one has two side hooks 7a and the other a central hook 8a passing through the buckle. The back of one watch, 2, is decorated to appear as an ornament e.g. a medal contrasting with the bracelet; and of the other, 3, in a manner blending with the bracelet. In Figs 4 & 5, the watches occupy diametrically opposite positions and the fastener comprises a dovetail 13 across an end of the bracelet engaging a groove 14 in one watch case forming the other end. A catch 15 retains the fastener.
