Abstract
658,146. Sliding-clasp fasteners. JAQUET, J. June 8, 1949, No. 15305. Convention date, June 10, 1948. [Class 44] A slider for a sliding-clasp fastener comprises an upper part 1, a lower part 2 spaced from the latter, a locking element 3 covered by the part 1 and a rivet 5 securing all parts together. The locking element 3 consists of a blade spring bowed at 7, and received in a bridge portion 8 pressed out of the part 1. The pull tag 6 acts on the part 7 of the element 3 to release the end 9 from locking engagement with the elements. The parts 1 and 2 may be spaced by a separate spacer 5, or the spacer may be integral with the lower part 2.
