(Class 44] The slider of a sliding-clasp fastener has a locking lever 10 hingedly mounted by a T-shape end 11 being received between two adjacent walls or lugs 2, 9, or in a recess, on the top of the slider and being retained by the lower edge, suitably cut away at 12, of a trough-shaped bridge member 4 for the pull tab 15. The lever is acted on by a bow-spring 14 and its locking end may be of such length that it can only engage below the top stop member 18. Specification 492,180 is referred to.
