1346110 Reclosable cartons VIBIXA Ltd 18 Oct 1972 [18 Nov 1971] 53560/71 Heading B8P In an end closure of a carton having two overlapping end flaps 11a, 13a, the upper end flap 11a includes inclined lines of perforations 21 extending from the upper corners of a carton side wall panel 11 and defining portions B and C which are adhered to the lower end flap 13a and a portion A which after separation from portions B and C is engageable in a slot 19 in the lower end flap 13a. The end closure may also include rectangular end flaps (10a, 12a, Fig. 1) hinged to the respective side wall panels (10 and 12) only or shaped and perforated flaps 10a, 12a, Fig. 3. A side pleated sleeve-like liner for the carton erected from the blank shown in Fig. 3 has its ends shaped and nipped against the fold lines 20 between the flaps 11a and the side wall panel 11 by the lower end flaps 13a and the shaped and perforated flaps 10a, 12a during closure of the carton. The tab portion A may be spot-adhered to the lower end flap 13a.
