Abstract

1368418 Cartons BECTON DICKINSON & CO 4 June 1973 [28 June 1972] 26471/73 Heading B8P A carton having side walls 1, 2, top wall 3 and bottom wall 4 is closed at one end by means of self-locking flaps 14, 15, 16, 17 while the other end of the carton is closed by means of a panel 26 extending from the bottom wall 4 together with flaps 22, 23, 24, 25 extending from the top and side walls, the carton being characterized by a tear-away zone defined by perforations 32 in the top and side walls and a panel 33 which extends from the panel 26 and is folded into the box to form an inclined platform as shown in Fig. 7, this panel 33 being locked in position by a further flap 34 hinged to the panel 33 and arranged to abut the inside of the panel 26 and the edge 40 of a tab 5 which is stuck to the inside of the bottom wall 4.
