1335695 Stainless steel compositions CRUCIBLE Inc 5 Nov 1970[12 Nov 1969] 52800/70 Heading C7A An austenitic stainless steel for internal combustion exhaust valves comprising:- The total of V, W and Nb not exceeding 4À5% and the balance Fe, or optionally with Mo replacing W on an atomic weight basis. The alloy is solution treated at 2150‹F for 1 hour, water quenched and aged at 1400‹ F for 16 hours.
