Abstract
1,189,347. Alloy steels. NIPPON KOKAN K.K. June 28, 1967 [June 28, 1966], No.29910/67. Heading C7A. An alloy steel suitable for use at high temperatures consists, in per cent by weight, of C 0À03-0À15 Si 0À05-1 Mn 0À3-1À2 Cr 5-8 Mo 0À5-1À5 Nb 0À03-0À15 B 0À001-0À012 optionally V 0À05-0À3 Fe and impurities - balance Specified impurities with their maximum permitted proportions are:- Ni 1%, N 0À4%, P 0À035%, S 0À035%, Co 0À25%, Al 0À05%, Ti 0À04%, W 0À25%, Sn 0À04%. Heat treatment may consist of normalizing at 1050‹ - 1150‹ C. and tempering at 750‹ C. and then 700‹ C. Use Boiler tubes.
