Abstract

1334820 Partition walls O F GASTEIGER 8 May 1972 21287/72 Heading EIW A partition wall comprises a downwardly open ceiling channel 20 with inwardly directed lips 32, 34 against the upper surfaces of which is biased a trim strip 38 by springs 40 in the channel. Plastics faced plywood panels 24 are held in position in a frictionally secured floor channel 22 by their weight and the force of the partially compressed springs 40. The ceiling channel may be provided with outwardly directed flanges on each side which support suspended ceiling panels, Fig. 8 (not shown).
