Abstract

1519797 Fire and pressure resistant wall BRODERNA WESTMANS PLATSLAGERI 2 Dec 1975 [2 Dec 1974 9 Oct 1975] 49480/75 Heading E1W A fire and pressure resistant wall consists of a plurality of sections, each section composed of a rectangular plate member 4 with its vertical edges formed into flanges 6 and joined to the flange of the adjacent section by means of bolts 7. Sealing means 9 are disposed between the flanges and strengthening pieces 10 are incorporated in the assembly, (Fig. 4). The wall is secured to the floor and ceiling by means of U-shaped channel members 16 and 18 (Figs. 5 and 6), and sealing means 13, 15, 20, 23, and the latter channel member may be adapted to support sections forming a ceiling 29 (Fig. 7). The sections are filled with an insulating material 25 and cover plates 26 are provided to clad the exterior of the wall, (Fig. 9).
