Abstract

1,078,325. Panelled wail. H. H. ROBERTSON CO. April 12, 1965 [May 1, 1964], No. 15396/65. Heading E1W. A wall panel structure comprises spaced uprights 20 having grooves for receiving the vertical sides of normally flat facing sheets 24 which are thereby held in bowed condition, a plurality of clip members 26 being secured e.g. by screws at intervals along the uprights and presenting opposed flanges 66A, 66B, which are immediately engaged by a side of a sheet 24 during outward movement thereof, e.g. due to wind loads, resilient means 70, contiguous with the clips 26 being provided for supporting trim caps 28 covering the vertical supports. Strips 80 sealant material are interposed between the sides of the trim caps 28 and the vertical sides of the sheets 24.
