Abstract

1,022,072. Suspended ceilings. O. S. JENSEN. Dec. 4, 1962 [Dec. 5, 1961], No. 45736/62. Heading E1V. A wall or ceiling facing comprises a plurality of channel shaped panel elements 22 having outwardly directed flanges 27 which resiliently, and in an outward direction relative to the panels, engage against tongues 16, 17 formed on or carried by supporting rails 1 extending transversely behind the panels. Strip elements 21 between the panels may be engaged upon tongues 18 formed on the rails 1. The tongues 16, 17 may be replaced by the side walls of strip elements extending transversely of the rails 1 and attached thereto by means of tongues formed on the rails 1, Fig. 3 (not shown) or by means of separate clips, Fig. 2 (not shown).
