Classes 20(4) and 87(1) In a suspended ceiling formed of panels D of fibre board attached to supporting flanged members C secured to longitudinally or transversely extending bars A suspended from hangers B, there is provided on the upper side of each panel and spaced from that edge E of the panel adapted to abut the edge of an adjacent panel a clip F shaped to extend upwardly and forwardly at an inclination to the panel: the clip terminates in a hookshaped end F<SP>2</SP> to engage a flange C2 of the member C whereby one end of a panel may be temporarily inserted between the flanges C<SP>1</SP>, C<SP>2</SP>, of the member and a panel in position to permit of subsequent assembly in abutting relation. As shown, the panels are stiffencd by angles H, and an angle L extending along the walls of a room engages in slots M of the angles H thereby to support panels at those ends thereof adjacent the walls. An ornamental surround is provided by an angle N.
